What is Microneedling?
It is a treatment that stimulates regeneration in the skin by inducing controlled trauma down below the outer layer of skin. Human growth factor cells are infused into the skin during the treatment, which work to increase the rate at which the skin heals itself and generates new tissue. Microneedling can severely reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and is wonderful for treating acne scarring.
Why Hand Microneedling?
For the first time, we are also offering Hand Microneedling as an add-on to any microneedling treatment. This will work in the same way as microneedling done on the face, it will work with your skin’s natural abilities and add Human Growth Factor cells to increase the process. The benefit of this treatment is to reduce the appearance of aging and texture on the part of your body that is likely exposed to the elements the most; fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and signs of weather will be diminished.
A Full-Service Experience
At NŪR, a microneedling treatment is more of a full facial experience than it is when done elsewhere. We begin the procedure with a double sonic AHA/BHA cleanse, followed by the application of a topical anesthetic mask to minimize any discomfort during the treatment. Then the microneedling treatment is done, followed by an oxygen treatment to accelerate the healing process and ensure the skin is clean and free of anything that could cause irritation. Finally, you will receive LED light therapy using a red light frequency designed to encourage the production of collagen. Skin may be red, tight, or dry for 2-3 days after treatment and feel tender or sensitive for a few days after that, but you will see the permanent results develop in the skin over the following three to four weeks. Clients can always take advantage of our concierge service to ask questions during their healing process.
